Nicole Gray, Esquire

Nicole Gray is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono where she concentrated on economics and international relations. She received her Juris Doctor degree at The University of Maine School of Law. Ms. Gray is admitted to practice in the State of Maine and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Ms. Gray's interest in international matters and economics continued while in law school. She was the recipient of the Faculty Scholastic Achievement Award for International Law. She also was awarded the CALI Excellence Award for Commercial Law. Lastly, Ms. Gray spent two of her three years at law school working on issues of terrorism as a professor's research assistant.

Ms. Gray has worked as in-house counsel for a multinational retail grocery chain conglomerate and Fortune 500 Company. She counseled internal business personnel on intellectual property, privacy, and contract law matters. In addition, Ms. Gray has performed pro bono work on matters of immigration, foreign direct investment, and oil and gas development.

Ms. Gray takes a traditional view of the lawyer's role. She is a counselor to each client she represents. She believes a lawyer's role is to help individuals avoid legal conflict when possible. If not possible she then seeks remedy in the rule of law and the courts. She believes the professional relationship between counselor and client is of the greatest importance and is willing to take the time necessary to meet a client's needs.
